Technology: AHT’s Crystal Clear Separation (CCS)

African Horizon Technologies has been requested to propose a treatment solution for the treatment of leachate effluent from 2 waste management facilities across the country. The effluent must be pretreated as required by law before being discharged into the environment. In ensuring compliance AHT undertook trial tests with the CCS technology which resulted in a massive reduction of contaminants and met the discharge standards. All samples were analyzed by an accredited lab, to ensure that the appropriate results are provided, before and after treatment of the AHT’s CCS technology.

The Process applied consists of a combination of our proven CCS (Electro-coagulation) technology, to generate a concentrated Al Hydroxide-solution and external Polymer-flocculent both added to the raw solution which removes organic contaminants and reduce salinity.
